Wanted! Bright & Cheery Part-time Office Assistant!
Merritt Academy is looking for an energetic team player to assist at our front desk in the afternoon from 3:00 – 6:30pm, Monday thru Friday. This position reports to the Administrative Assistant and must be able to multi-task in a school environment. Duties include answering phones, assisting parents with checking out their children and other duties as assigned. A positive and upbeat attitude are a must!

Assistants, Preschool After-Care - Do you have high energy; are you enthusiastic; do you love singing and dancing; are you creative and do you think outside the box? If you are, this is the place for you. The work hours would be in the afternoon from 3:00 to 6:30 PM in our preschool. Your main role in this position will be to interact with the children under your care for 3-1/2 hours per day and keep them engaged. On Call Substitute Teachers - Do you love to work with preschoolers (Infant to K4) and kindergartners? Do you want to earn some extra money? If the answer is yes to both of these questions, then we have the opportunity for you. Merritt Academy (located in Fairfax, VA), The Appletree School (located in Fairfax, VA) and First Steps Early Learning Academy (located in Tyson’s Corner, McLean, VA) are looking for qualified teachers. You must have at least five years of experience working in a school environment and be able to work on an on-call basis at any of our three schools. The schools are year-round and the work hours would vary depending on the classroom. Your main role in this position will be to interact with the children under your care for the day and keep them engaged.
